H.L. Myers is a sculptor and puppet fabricator based in San Diego, California. Their art is a visual diary of emotions and experiences translated into tactile form, reflecting inner dissonance. Myers has always felt a gravitation towards the surreal and unusual, lending a raw, disconcerting quality to their art. Myers' most recent solo exhibition, Mutt, is an exploration of personal identity through the lens of canine symbolism.
Myers has exhibited in Keller Gallery in San Diego and holds a B.A. in Interdisiplinary Visual Arts from Point Loma Nazarene University.
